Sato Kogyo regularly receives awards and commendations for meritorious performance and expertise in the fields of best buildable design, construction excellence, engineering, conservation, quality, environmental, health and safety.

Some of the recent awards achieved by the company are:-

  Sato Kogyo was awarded the BCA Green Mark Gold for the design-and-build of Merrill Lynch HarbourFront project. This new 6-storey office adds a touch of modern sustainability to the HarbourFront Precinct with its energy and water efficient features as well as a high proportion of greenery to total leasable area.

• June 2008

  
  Sato Kogyo was presented the LTA Construction Environmental Award by Land Transport Authority. This inaugural award is to recognise the promotion of good environmental practices at worksites such as maintaining effective noise control, dengue free construction sites and effective earth control measures.

  Sato Kogyo was awarded the Construction Excellence Merit Award (Civil Engineering Projects Category) by Building and Construction Authority for the Design and Construction of Fort Canning Tunnel and Realignment of Stamford Road Project.

  Sato Kogyo received the coveted Land Transport Excellence Award for Best Managed Project in recognition of the various civil engineering and railway infrastructure projects successfully undertaken with Land Transport Authority.

• December 2007

  
  Sato Kogyo was nominated as a partner in the bizSAFE community by Ministry of Manpower. This is to recognise the renewed commitment which the company has pledged to accord the highest responsibility to health and safety for all the projects.

• October 2007

  
  Sato Kogyo was awarded the Architectural Heritage Award for the restoration of the National Museum of Singapore by the Urban Redevelopment Authority. This award is a testimony that the company had gone beyond the basic essentials to lovingly restore monument and conservation building to its former glory for today’s use.

  Sato Kogyo was conferred by Singapore Structural Steel Society with Commendation Award for the distinguished use of structural steel for its creativity, value and innovation at the New Supreme Court Project.
